Setup problems

If you encounter an error while running the setup program for Anvil Studio ^™ or one of its accessories, please do the following:

Download and execute the program DrSetup.
It is a very small program that just takes a few seconds to download. It produces a text file that describes what happened when you tried to install Anvil Studio and its accessories.

email that text file to support@AnvilStudio.com.

Non-setup problems

If you encounter an error while running Anvil Studio ^™ please do one of the following:

Describe your problem or search for solutions in our online forum, or

Click this to send us comments through email, or

Create and send us a diagnostic log file to show what is going wrong:

Press and hold the Shift key while you start Anvil Studio.

Repeat the steps that caused the error in Anvil Studio to occur.

Quit Anvil Studio if it has not already stopped running.

A log file will be created that records Anvil Studio's actions and will let us know what it was doing when it failed.

Please email us the file AnvilStudioLog.txt from your My Documents folder to us at: support@AnvilStudio.com

If the program stops, please also include any error message or number that appeared on the screen when the program stopped.
